Howard Palmer served on Active Duty in the US Air Force from
1951 to 1971 in various Air Bases of the United States
and overseas. He was assigned as a "Technical Instructor" in
Aircraft Electronic and Aircraft Weapons Control Systems for the
following aircrafts; F-86, 89, 94, 101, 101, F-4C (110) and the AC-130 Spectra Gunship.
