Murray Bradshaw's Military Career
-
Murray enlisted in the US Army on January 10,
1967 and sent to Fort Jackson, South Carolina for his
basic-training.
-
In March 1967 he was sent to Hawaii and
served 9 months in that State.
-
He then received new orders to serve in
Vietnam in November 1967 and sent to the Qui Nhon region of
Vietnam with the 1st Cavalry, Americal 23rd Infantry Division
until December 1968.

While serving in Vietnam, Murray was awarded
the "Bronze Star Medal", the "Purple Heart Medal", the "Republic
of Vietnam Service Medal", and the "Republic of Vietnam Campaign
Medal (w/60)".

In December 1968, he was stationed at Fort
Riley, Kansas until June 1970 and then returned to civilian
life.
